A DAY WITH THE LISTER STEALTH

The Lister Stealth

The Lister Motor Company

THE LISTER MOTOR COMPANY UNVEILS BRITAIN'S FASTEST SUV

We are proud to unveil the fastest and most powerful SUV Britain has ever produced – the Lister Stealth. Based on the already dynamic Jaguar F‐PACE SVR, the 666bhp Stealth is the latest in our long line of stunning, hand‐crafted and bespoke products. To claim the title of Britain's fastest SUV, the Stealth required a thorough update to the 5.0‐litre supercharged V8 engine found in the factory F‐PACE SVR. Our team of highly experienced engineers set to work on the engine and cooling system to ensure it delivers an outstanding 666bhp and 881Nm of torque – a 22% increase over the standard car. We began the process with a custom‐built intercooler and high‐performance air filtration system for optimising combustion temperatures and airflow into the unit. Upgraded dual supercharger pulleys have the cumulative effect of forcing more air into the combustion chamber for unrivalled levels of performance for this vehicle segment. Like in the LFT‐666 and LFT‐C, the Lister En...

666

The Lister Motor Company has unveiled the first example of its new Lister LFT-C at their Lancashire Headquarters. Carrying chassis number 01, it is the first of just 10 cars to be built for the global market and continues a bloodline of limited-edition supercars to carry the Lister badge. The Lister LFT-666 coupe, launched in 2018 with production limited to just 99 vehicles, has been universally well received with new cars being delivered around the globe. Requests for an open-top LFT-666 created the concept for the LFT-C, a car giving true supercar performance with the excitement and exhilaration of a convertible, and yet retaining the core Lister DNA of performance and driving precision. Producing 666bhp from a Lister-tuned and supercharged V8 engine, the Lister LFT-C becomes the most powerful open-top Lister ever built, offering a top speed in excess of 205 mph and a 0-62 mph time of just over three seconds. Taking the fastest open top Lister title from the celebrated Le Ma...

Crafting the Lister Knobbly Road Car - The Legend is Reborn

29th May 2019 The Lister Motor Company, manufacturers of the LFT-666, LFP, LFT-C and a range of continuation models, has produced a film showing the road-legal Lister Knobbly continuation being constructed, and driven, at the Lister factory in Cambridgeshire. All Knobbly continuation models are built to the very same specification as the original 1958 Knobbly racers, using the late Brian Lister’s original drawings and manufacturing jigs, but the car featured in this film has a very interesting story behind it. The Lister Motor Company was acquired by the Whittaker family in 2013, a purchase that came about thanks to Andrew Whittaker buying the Lister Knobbly you see in the film, registration number 324 JTD. The Whittaker family has a passion for cars, and it was long an ambition of Andrew to own an original Lister Knobbly. When a suitable car was offered for sale in 2011 a deal was struck, but the Knobbly he purchased was far from complete, in fact what Whittaker now...

Mercedes-Benz Design Essentials II - Highlights

The aesthetic of modern luxury is characterised by timeless beauty, a combination of high-grade technology and craftsmanship as well as a reduction to what is really important. The aim is to spark a desire for the brand. The atmosphere created by the design conveys a reduced, but not distant appearance that is modern and timeless. Black and silver are the dominant colours that create a stage for highlights, but also stage innovations to be complemented by a warm colour range. Natural materials, such as leather and wood give a feeling of being approachable and can be harmoniously combined with technical and innovative highlights. Modern graphic elements that quote the typical Mercedes style idioms or pick up on the brand make the brand identity stronger. Exterior design: sporty, dynamic, emotional Characteristic exterior design elements of Mercedes-Benz vehicles include the striking radiator grilles, dynamic side lines and sensually traversing surfaces that largely do away ...
