Fifty years later, Lamborghini Polo Storico is beginning to celebrate their anniversary by paying them homage at the Techno Classica 2018 in Essen, from March 21 to 25. One of the two Lamborghini classic vehicles showcased at the world-leading fair of the classic sector is a Series III Espada from 1976. With nearly 1.300 units produced from 1968 to 1978, the Espada became Lamborghini’s bestseller during its ten-year lifecycle and the second-best selling model among the classic cars of the Sant’Agata-based company. While the engine and the interior underwent modifications with each of the three series (S1: 1968 - 1970, S2: 1970 - 1972, S3: 1972 - 1978), the design and the bodywork remained almost untouched.
