The updated Kia Stinger is revealed in its European specification for the first time today. Kia’s high-performance fastback sports saloon now boasts a refreshed design to amplify its gran turismo character and a range of technology and safety upgrades. “The Stinger is standard-bearer for the Kia brand in Europe and remains our most driver-focused car, capable of covering great distances in comfort and style,” said Emilio Herrera, Chief Operating Officer for Kia Motors Europe. “The upgraded model builds on the Stinger’s well-established grand touring ethos, with a renewed sense of design flair, new technologies, and greater usability enhancing its appeal for buyers in Europe.” Since sales of the Stinger began in Europe in 2017, around 10,000 units have been sold across the continent. Queensland Police Stinger When Australia’s Queensland Police needed a new fleet of pursuit vehicles, they went all-in on the 365-horsepower Kia Stinger GT.  Citing the fastback’s performance during rigorous testing, Queensland police will put 100 Stinger GTs into service over the next 12 months.  Testifying to the Stinger’s build quality, the only modification Queensland Police made to the Australian-spec Stinger is a plug-and-play wiring loom to accommodate the police electronics. McLaren Special Operations provides a bespoke engineering service to those wishing to make their McLaren even more distinctive. The MSO 12C Concept is packed full of bespoke features including a revised bonnet, front wing louvres, rear wing vents, a unique Airbrake and a new roof featuring an integrated snorkel channelling air to the engine. These revisions are all crafted in lightweight carbon fibre. Titanium wheel bolts, along with oil and water filler caps, shed further weight from the already light 12C. The interior gains more carbon fibre upgrades in the form of body colour switch packs and bezels. These are complemented by a new carbon fibre instrument cluster with integrated shift lights. The keen-eyed amongst you will also notice that the Light Weight Wheels have been diamond cut in a new design. So, what would you have MSO produce?
