Cadillac Elevates Presence at Pebble Beach

Cadillac glamour concept 21.8.2012Upcoming models, new concept car and historic coupes highlight annual eventDETROIT – A new Cadillac design concept will debut this weekend in California as part of a new public exhibit that includes the brand’s newest production models and some of its most influential historic cars. The occasion is the annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, a convergence of some of the world’s most passionate auto aficionados.

Cadillac’s public exhibit at Peter Hay Hill Golf Course, adjacent to the Pebble Beach Resort, begins on Friday, August 16, and remains open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sunday August 18. Guests can register to test drive new Cadillac models, including the ATS sport sedan, the 2013 North American Car of the Year.

The heritage exhibit includes three personal luxury coupes, expressing Cadillac’s lineage of dramatic design and performance: the landmark 1967 Eldorado, a 1965 Coupe Deville, and a 1937 Series 90 V16. Cadillac’s V series and Vsport cars will be featured at the sold-out The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. Visitors can drive Cadillac performance cars like the 2013 ATS 2.0 T and 2013 CTS-V Coupe.

On the evening of Thursday, August 15, Cadillac will host a private reception for the world debut of a new concept car. Starting on Friday, August 16, Cadillac’s newest concept will be exhibited publicly at the brand’s Peter Hay Hill exhibit. Held annually since 1950, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is a premier exhibition of pre- and post-war automobiles and motorcycles, as well as concept cars from manufacturers across the world.
