Winkelman was the "toreador" of Lamborghini from 2005 to 2016 before moving to run Audi's performance division. Being the CEO of Audi Sport since March 2016, by the end of this year the 52-year old German will replace current Bugatti head Wolfgang Dürheimer. What might this mean? Maybe not much. Maybe they will manage to finally build a not-so-boring Bugatti afterall?
We'll see. But first there's an Audi hypercar in the pipeline. This time is more believable, than ever. He knows a thing or two how to manage supercars.
