New Barrett-Jackson Car Pack to Star in Award-Winning Forza Motorsport 7 Racing Video Game
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Jan. 11, 2019 – The worlds of collector car aficionados, racing fans and gamers will collide on January 15, when the Barrett-Jackson Car Pack is released in Forza Motorsport 7, an Xbox One and Windows 10 PC game that immerses players in the exhilarating thrill of competitive racing. On the eve of the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, the game will feature seven historic collector cars hand-selected by the Barrett-Jackson team.

“Barrett-Jackson and the Forza racing franchise are major drivers of the international car culture,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “Barrett-Jackson helps enthusiasts fulfill their high-octane dreams through the greatest collector car events in the world. Forza gives enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy rare cars through a virtual experience. We’re honored to work with Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios to join those two worlds through a fantastic, fun game that will inspire a new generation to be part of the car culture.”

Turn 10 Studios collaborated with Barrett-Jackson experts to select the vehicles of the Barrett-Jackson Car Pack. Seven historic collectible cars will be featured in Forza Motorsport 7, including the 1932 Ford Custom “Double Down,” the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport Barrett-Jackson Edition, the 1963 Shelby Monaco King Cobra and more. The Barrett-Jackson Car Pack is available for purchase and is also included as a free add-on for players who own the Forza Motorsport 7 Car Pass.

“We have a deep connection to every vehicle in the Barrett-Jackson Car Pack, whether they crossed our auction block or were personally owned by someone on our team,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “Working closely with Turn 10 Studios, we channeled that knowledge into a group of cars that will deliver an authentic and exciting digital driving experience for enthusiasts of all ages through Forza Motorsport 7.”
