This one of a kind Continental GT Convertible embodies a myriad of distinctive features, building on the strengths of Bentley’s iconic open top Grand Tourer. Inspired by the greatest racecourse in the world and home to the most exhilarating and prestigious event of the horse racing calendar, The Cheltenham Festival, the sole example of the Equestrian Edition has been specially commissioned by Bentley Bristol and hand built by Bentley Mulliner in Crewe. To celebrate the car’s inspiration, it was recently photographed at Jackdaws Castle – the famous state of the art equestrian training facility and home of Jonjo O’Neill Racing, just 10 miles from Cheltenham Racecourse. Sumptuous embroidery and artisanal marquetry rarefies the Equestrian Edition.  Horse and rider silhouettes adorn all four seats, that are finished in the aptly named sustainable Saddle hide. (Crewe, 02 March 2020) Following the cancellation of the Geneva International Motor Show, Bentley Motors will be holding a digital press conference at 08:30am GMT on 3 March 2020 to unveil the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar. The Bentley Mulliner Bacalar will be only the second two-seat Bentley since 1930. The press conference will be streamed on the Bentley Motors YouTube channel www.youtube.com/BentleyMotors Exquisitely hand-built by Bentley Mulliner, the oldest coachbuilder in the world, the Bacalar represents Grand Touring at its most exhilarating.  Sustainable and ethically-sourced materials are fused with a beautiful yet dramatic design inspired by Bentley’s centenary concept car, the EXP 100 GT.  The two-seat layout and wraparound cockpit of the Bacalar creates a luggage space behind the exquisitely stitched front seats, occupied by a bespoke pair of travel cases trimmed to match the interior materials, all of which are sustainably sourced.

Bentley Motorsport will contest a specially prepared Continental GT at the 2020 GP Ice Race in Zell am See. Following on from Bentley’s recent history of setting Ice Speed Records in 2007 and 2011, the W12-powered Continental GT is ready to continue Bentley’s heritage of high performance on ice at the spectacular showcase event in Austria across the weekend of 1/2 February 2020. The Ice Race Continental GT will be running in livery that pays homage to its record-breaking compatriot from the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2019 and shares the same factory built W12 twin-turbocharged TSI engine. The 6.0-litre unit delivers 635 PS (626 bhp), 900 Nm (664 lb.ft.) , a 0-100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds (0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds) and a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph). The car’s three chamber air springs, 48V active anti-roll control system and iron brakes are entrusted with the cool running of the Bentley Continental GT on the purpose-built ice track.
