Ferrari Omologata

Fiorano sees the premiere of the 10th one-off crafted over a V12 platform
A unique Ferrari has been seen lapping Fiorano today during a brief yet intense shakedown. While the V12 engine note reverberating around the track may have sounded familiar, the car’s arresting looks are unique although guaranteed to strike a chord with the marque’s aficionados. With its Rosso Magma finish and sophisticated racing livery, the new Ferrari Omologata is a clear descendent of Ferrari’s great GT tradition spanning seven decades of history.
Commissioned by a discerning European client, the latest offering in Ferrari’s line of unique coachbuilt one-off models is a vibrant evocation of the values that define Ferrari in relation to GT racing: a car that is equally at ease on the road as it is hitting the apex on the track in the hands of a true gentleman driver.
The Ferrari Omologata project took a little over two years to complete from the initial presentation of sketches, starting with images that cov…

1996 Zagato Raptor | No Intro Needed...This IS The Ultimate Lamborghini

30 OCTOBER 2019 The Zagato Raptor was designed in conjunction with Lamborghini SpA as a limited-production model intended to bridge the gap between the Diablo and its subsequently stillborn successor, the Lamborghini Canto. Although the model never went into production, the stunning one-off Raptor concept was significantly lighter and more elegant than the standard Diablo.
It was unveiled at the 1996 Geneva Motor Show and garnered significant attention, not only for its exceptional performance, but also for its futuristic aesthetics, which were the product of Zagato’s new computer-aided design equipment. Indeed, it was one of the very first cars to be designed entirely by a digital design and manufacturing process, negating the need to produce a single scale model. As a result, Zagato’s engineers achieved the remarkable feat of producing the concept from a clean sheet design in less than four months under the guidance of chief designer Nori Harada.
The Raptor itself was built on a tub…

Lamborghini SC18: the first ‘one-off’ created by Squadra Corse

Sant’Agata Bolognese/Rome, 16 November 2018 – Lamborghini Squadra Corse unveils the SC18, the first one-off in the history of the motorsport division of Sant’Agata Bolognese. The unique specimen, designed in synergy with the customer and Centro Stile Lamborghini, is road approved but designed primarily for use on the track. The SC18 paves the way to further personalized development projects for motorsport customers under the Squadra Corse brand.
The car features extreme aerodynamics, developed specifically for the model and derived from Squadra Corse’s experience in competition. The racing elements start from the front hood, with air intakes in the style of the Huracán GT3 EVO; the sides and rear feature fenders, fins and airscoops are inspired by the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO. The aerodynamic system is completed by a large carbon fiber wing with three mechanical adjustments, able to generate the optimal downforce on any circuit. In addition, the twelve air intakes formed on the rear h…

Ferrari SP38

Maranello, May 23 2018 – The Ferrari SP38, the latest offspring from Ferrari’s One-Off programme, has been unveiled at Fiorano where, after the ceremonial handover to one of Ferrari’s most dedicated customers, the car was immediately put through its paces in a series of hot laps.
Designed by the Ferrari Design Centre on the chassis and running gear of the 488 GTB, this unique car reflects the specific vision of a client with a deep passion for racing. The result is a model that can be driven both on road and on track, while at the same time expressing all the beauty and innovation inherent in Ferrari’s road cars.
The all-new bodywork, in a newly conceived three-layer metallic red, marks a radical departure from the language aesthetic of the donor car. The twin-turbo, twin-intercooler set-up of the award-winning 488 GTB inspired the team to reference the mighty F40 as an icon from which to instruct the project’s general direction.
Compared to the 488 chassis, the visual mass of SP38 a…
