Toyota Gazoo Racing will start sales of the GR Supra GT4 race car to customer teams in March 2020. The new competition model will initially be offered in Europe, followed by North America in August and Japan/Asia in October next year, strengthening the company’s focus on customer motorsport1. The GR Supra GT4 is based on the road-going GR Supra, Toyota Gazoo Racing’s first global model, released earlier this year. It is developed and produced by Toyota Motorsport GmbH (TMG). The three-litre in-line six-cylinder engine with single twin-scroll turbocharger has been tuned to 430bhp/320kW2 and is matched to a seven-speed sports automatic transmission with paddle shifts and a mechanical limited-slip differential. The performance elements include an Akrapovič exhaust system, and first-fill lubricants are supplied by Ravenol. ATLANTA, Oct. 28, 2019 — Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) today revealed two new concepts at the North American Commercial Vehicle (NACV) Show. Both concepts add product detail to its Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) 2030 Vision for wide-spread deployment of hydrogen-powered fuel cell technology. HMC introduced the HDC-6 NEPTUNE Concept Class 8 heavy duty truck, while Hyundai Translead (HT), a leading trailer manufacturer, announced the launch of its new, clean energy refrigerated concept trailer, the HT Nitro ThermoTech®. SSC Tuatara Hypercar Earns World’s “Fastest Production Vehicle” Title Tuatara Breaks World Records, as Racer, Oliver Webb Achieves 331MPH SSC North America, America’s first hypercar company, has reclaimed the coveted title of world’s “Fastest Production Vehicle,” this time with its 1,750hp Tuatara. With internationally acclaimed professional racing driver, Oliver Webb, at the Tuatara’s wheel, the record-breaking drive took place on the morning of Saturday, October 10, outside of Las Vegas near Pahrump, Nevada along a seven-mile stretch of State Route 160. Webb pushed the SSC Tuatara to an average speed of 316.11 mph (508.73 km/h) following two consecutive high-speed test runs of 301.07 mph (484.53 km/h) and 331.15 mph (532.93 km/h).
