The Inline 6 Cylinder You Need to Hear to Believe -1954 Jaguar XK120

This Jaguar XK120 was once the fastest production car in the world. This 1954 example has been in the Wile family for decades and boy does it sound incredible. I'm honored to have been trusted to drive this car. It was quite intimidating. Once you hear the first little crunch of the gearbox shifting into first it really keeps you on your toes to be delicate and deliberate. The 4 wheel brakes are quite timid to slow this vehicle so while its fun to ring out the twin cam 3.4L inline 6, you'd better be sure there's nothing in your way! Driving classics like this Jag really make you appreciate the talented drivers who raced them.

THE LISTER MOTOR COMPANY UNVEILS BRITAIN'S FASTEST SUV

We are proud to unveil the fastest and most powerful SUV Britain has ever produced – the Lister Stealth. Based on the already dynamic Jaguar F‐PACE SVR, the 666bhp Stealth is the latest in our long line of stunning, hand‐crafted and bespoke products. To claim the title of Britain's fastest SUV, the Stealth required a thorough update to the 5.0‐litre supercharged V8 engine found in the factory F‐PACE SVR. Our team of highly experienced engineers set to work on the engine and cooling system to ensure it delivers an outstanding 666bhp and 881Nm of torque – a 22% increase over the standard car. We began the process with a custom‐built intercooler and high‐performance air filtration system for optimising combustion temperatures and airflow into the unit. Upgraded dual supercharger pulleys have the cumulative effect of forcing more air into the combustion chamber for unrivalled levels of performance for this vehicle segment. Like in the LFT‐666 and LFT‐C, the Lister En...

The GM-X Stiletto, born in 1964, was a product of this era's boundless imagination. The Visionary Design The GM-X Stiletto was first unveiled at the 1964-1965 World’s...

DEARBORN, Mich., April 2, 2019 – With today’s reveal of the stylish new Escape, featuring the small SUV’s best-ever performance, flexibility and smart new technology, Ford is reinventing the model that helped drive the popularity of the segment. Escape, which debuted the world’s first hybrid SUV in 2005, brings back two hybrid choices for 2020, a standard hybrid and a plug-in variant, and introduces technologies ranging from drive modes and driver-assist features to electric vehicle ingenuity and on-board connectivity. “This all-new Escape brings a sleeker, sportier design with the capability to take you on just about any of your life’s adventures,” said Kumar Galhotra, Ford’s president, North America. “With our class-leading hybrid powertrains, customers will spend less time at the gas station and more time on the road.” To create a sportier look for the all-new Escape, designers turned to some of the most high- profile sports cars in the Ford showroom.
