Groupe Renault confirms its desire to break the rules and become the first general vehicle maker to offer an international Coupé SUV. Today, it unveils the production version of Arkana, its all-new C-segment (4.54 m) model with an innovative, distinctive design. Built at the Moscow plant and on sale from this summer on the Russian market, it will contribute to the worldwide expansion of Groupe Renault as part of its strategic Drive the Future plan. Combining the elegance of a saloon, the sportiness of a coupé and the robustness of an SUV, the Arkana show-car impressed everyone when it was unveiled last year at the Moscow motor show. The external design of the production version of the Arkana Coupé SUV differs only slightly from the show-car. It retains the sloping roof line, very high waistline and wide, expressive bumper. ARKANA, Renault’s new distinctive crossover

Renault’s new distinctive C-segment crossover will be named Renault ARKANA. The showcar of the new global model will be premiered at the Moscow International Motor Show 2018, on August 29th. The new model’s name is derived from Latin ARCANUM (“secret”), which was used for centuries to mark events and phenomena of special significance. The name ARKANA underlines the uniqueness of the future crossover and its incredible magnetism. Concept of the ARKANA model is associated with mystery, attractiveness and pioneer spirit. The distinctive new crossover Renault ARKANA is ready to break the mould of the SUV market thanks to its unique design. It will be first presented in Russia this summer as a showcar and launched on the market in 2019. This new Renault global crossover with its unique design will then be introduced in other countries.

SSC Tuatara Hypercar Earns World’s “Fastest Production Vehicle” Title Tuatara Breaks World Records, as Racer, Oliver Webb Achieves 331MPH SSC North America, America’s first hypercar company, has reclaimed the coveted title of world’s “Fastest Production Vehicle,” this time with its 1,750hp Tuatara. With internationally acclaimed professional racing driver, Oliver Webb, at the Tuatara’s wheel, the record-breaking drive took place on the morning of Saturday, October 10, outside of Las Vegas near Pahrump, Nevada along a seven-mile stretch of State Route 160.
