If Miura is beautiful and the Miura SV is gorgeous...       Sant’Agata Bolognese/Nakayama (Japan), 21 June 2018 – Lamborghini Polo Storico has completed restoration of one of the most famous Miuras ever built: the Miura SVR. On the occasion of its delivery, the car was also exhibited at Japan’s Nakayama Circuit. As is well-documented, only 763 Lamborghini Miuras were produced, between 1966 and 1972, at the company’s plant in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. The number of Miuras built outside of Sant’Agata, however, is much greater, as numerous model car manufacturers have created a scale version of what is one of the most iconic vehicles in automobile history. Among these was Japan’s Kyosho, which produced 1:18 scale models of both the Lamborghini Miura SV and Miura SVR. Lamborghini Polo Storico presents its latest projects at Salon Rétromobile 2018, Paris Sant’Agata Bolognese/Paris 7 February 2018 – Lamborghini Polo Storico is at Salon Rétromobile in Paris, from 7 to 11 February, with a prize-winning Miura and a right-hand drive Countach currently undergoing renovation. The heritage department of Automobili Lamborghini also displays examples of newly-manufactured V12 4.0 liter engine heads, as part of its ongoing commitment to original Lamborghini spare parts for classic Lamborghini models. The 1976 Lamborghini Countach LP400, chassis #1120204, is part-way through its complete restoration by Lamborghini Polo Storico. Every part of the vehicle has been disassembled and overhauled including the matching-numbers engine. The car is now being repainted in its original yellow color using paint from manufacturer PPG, and subjected to paint tests and hand polishing before the car is reassembled.
