BMW 6-series Gran Developments

As premium brands continue to diversify and expand into new segments one body-style that appears to be gaining popularity among the manufacturers is
the two-door luxury estate – more commonly referred to as the ‘Shooting Brake’. The other is the 'Four-door Coupé'.
BMW is already working on two new versions based of the 6-series. One is a shooting brake, that will first debut as a concept in one of the following auto shows. As a matter of fact, the shooting brake is already built. It has a long coupe-like styling with short overhangs. The other is a swanky Mercedes CLS-rival a so-called four-door coupe. Since Mercedes has already confirmed its shooting brake it's no surprise BMW is following the same path. Not only the 6-series will receive one, also the next 3-series (F30) is expected to show up in a two-door wagon suit.
