Murcielago GT by DMC

Lamborghini‘s new Aventador is such a big hit, it‘s been reported to be completely sold out for the next 18+ months. This is especially painful for owners of the original Murcielago 580 that were hoping to go Aventador-Galore after having passed on the LP640. This huge market opportunity has now been targeted by German Tuner DMC (www.DMC.ag).
After their successfull Limited Edition LP640 QV last year, DMC is now proud to announce its 2011 GT Murcielago, a kit that has been engineered for the first generation Murci from the ground up. DMC‘s team set the target to refresh the supercars look on the out- and inside while staying loyal to the original line, and boy does it deliver.
DMC posseses the industry‘s high-tech manufacturing ability to produce molded dry-carbon fiber parts, on a level that has often been commented on as "Better than OEM". Therefore it‘s no wonder that all parts of the new 2011 GT kit are being made as such high tier quality level:
Body Kit
The maintenance of a perfect road contact is most essential when one is pushing a super sports car to the limit. To achieve greater downforce on the front, DMC offers a redesigned front and rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. In typical DMC tradition, all parts are being manufactured in pure carbon fiber by an Autoclave.
Exhaust
The DMC stainless sports rear silencer (end pipe) emits a sound similar to that generated from race tracks announcing the arrival of the blood-curdling steer. Positive side effect; an even sportier rear look. If that‘s not enough, customers can extend their exhaust system with a DMC sport metallic catalytic converter.
Interior
DMC prepares the cockpit of the Super-Lambo providing even more sports racing atmosphere. For this, the tuners from Duesseldorf, Germany offer a complete make-over using carbon fiber & fine leathers. Clients that have the opportunity to bring their car to DMC will not recognize their Murcielago after the DMC treatment. Complete new leather and carbon fiber coatings leave no old look behind, a hand-made art that is performed by only a few masters left in Germany.
Engine
Lastly, ECU remapping is provided to bring out those few extra horse-powers, pushing the Murcielago from normally available 572 to 600 HP, while increasing torque from 479 to 495 Nm. It should be noted that improving on the Lamborghini engine software is not something many outside of the factory can successfully perform. DMC‘s proprietary software improves power and torque by carefully refining the fuel delivery ignition time and load values as well as throttle settings which improve the overall performance.

Aventador S | The design draws inspiration from predators and aeronautics

As much as the Aventador is the car most entitled to represent the Lamborghini brand values, the Aventador S is the expression of the Lamborghini flagship par excellence, embodying the utmost synergy between design and engineering in pure Lamborghini style. The “S” has existed for 50 years The first Lamborghini S model was launched 50 years ago to represent the evolution of already revered icons. In fact, the further development of the Miura into a more improved version dates back to 1968, followed by Islero, Countach and Urraco. When the Aventador reaped this legacy and decided to surpass itself, the Aventador S was born. The design draws inspiration from predators and aeronautics The Aventador S presents pure refinement of the iconic design that remains true to the Lamborghini DNA, enhancing its mix of dynamism, refinement and aggressiveness. The sharp lines and surfaces of the front end evoke images of a shark fin, transmitting the same force and elegance when d...

1985 Audi Sport Quattro: The Group B Homologation Special

In Austria in 1980, just a year after four-wheel drive cars became eligible to compete in the WRC, Audi debuted the first Quattro rally car and forever changed the sport. Over the next half of the decade (and onwards, if you count the Pikes Peak specials), these Audis would be subjected to a period of rapid iterative evolution that led to the short-wheelbase Sport Quattro models that helped define the infamously fast and dangerous era of Group B rallying. The relatively lax nature of the Group B regulations gave rise to a number of downright ferocious cars from Audi’s competitors (most notable being Lancia and Peugeot), and while it was not the most successful nor technologically advanced of these top tier cars by the end of the Group B era, the Sport Quattro is a worthy poster child for the lot of them—being first to the punch has its advantages. The advent of the Group B class provided manufacturers with practically every leeway imaginable given they adhered to a basic s...
