New Citroën Grand C4 Picasso: the Technospace sees big (official video 2013)

NEW CITROËN GRAND C4 PICASSO: THE TECHNOSPACE SEES BIG

CITROËN is taking a new step forward in its product offensive with the unveiling of the first pictures of the new Grand C4 Picasso, a uniquely styled car that fully stands out from the five-seater model and features a pioneering balance between interior spaciousness and flowing body styling. The New Grand C4 Picasso harnesses all the efficiency of the new EMP2 platform to provide the best combination of versatility, cabin space and accessibility on the market. It also boasts record low CO2 emissions with a model emitting just 98 g/km. The new vehicle inaugurates the all-new BlueHDi technology with a version developing 150 bhp and emitting just 110 g/km of CO2.

The new model has the same length as its predecessor (4.59 m), but thanks to the Efficient Modular Platform 2, or EMP2, the wheelbase has been stretched to 2.84 m (the longest in the category) to provide even more:

- versatility, with a third row of removable seats for transporting seven people;

- cabin room, with segment-leading spaciousness in rows two and three;

- onboard access, especially in row three, through optimised door openings;

- load volume, with an extra 69 litres (645 litres VDA and over 700 litres with row two in its forward-most position).

The new CITROËN Grand C4 Picasso is powered by a new BlueHDi engine that complies with the Euro 6 standard through its Selective Catalytic Reduction system – the only technology able to sharply reduce NOx emissions (by 90%) while cutting CO2 emissions. The result is a ground-breaking balance of performance and fuel consumption in the category, with maximum power of 150 bhp for just 110 g/km of CO2 for the manual version and 117 g/km for the version fit with the latest-generation automatic gearbox.
