A Fiberglass Ferrari!? - The Ferrari 308 vetroresina

Vetroresina means fiberglass in Italian, which is why you hear it attached to the name of the very first group of 308's ever built. The 308 was unique not only because of the material used for its body, but also for being the second ever V8-engined road Ferrari, ( Enzo Ferrari was not a big fan of V8s or V6s and was quoted many times saying that Ferrari road cars would only ever have 12-cylinder engines. That was why, when Ferrari first started producing models with V6s and V8s, they were baged as Dinos. )
The 308 was also the first Ferrari to go back to being designed by Pininfarina after a short affair the Prancing Horse had with Bertone. Ferrari had Pininfarina restyle the 308 into what would become the real successor to the Dino 246.

For Ferrari 308 collectors, the pinnacle is a vetroresina (fiberglass) car. Only 808 vetroresina cars were built before production was switched to steel in 1977, making them the rarest and most collectible of the over 12,000 308s built.

The Inline 6 Cylinder You Need to Hear to Believe -1954 Jaguar XK120

This Jaguar XK120 was once the fastest production car in the world. This 1954 example has been in the Wile family for decades and boy does it sound incredible. I'm honored to have been trusted to drive this car. It was quite intimidating. Once you hear the first little crunch of the gearbox shifting into first it really keeps you on your toes to be delicate and deliberate. The 4 wheel brakes are quite timid to slow this vehicle so while its fun to ring out the twin cam 3.4L inline 6, you'd better be sure there's nothing in your way! Driving classics like this Jag really make you appreciate the talented drivers who raced them.

Spied | C8 Corvette Z06?

Ran in to this, some camouflaged. No one would talk, but this looks a lot like a @chevrolet#Corvette#Z06 bench mark drive to me. No cameo: standard C8 Corvette, @Ferrari #488 and @Porsche#gt2rs Under camo, I heard what sounded like a turbo V6. @AutoweekUSApic.twitter.com/IASSPmzriZ — Robin Warner (@RobinWarner) June 18, 2020
