Saab: il museo è salvo (IT)


Dopo il fallimento, Saab ha messo all’asta 120 automobili presenti nel museo storico della casa. La collezione rischiava di essere smembrata per sempre, perdendo così un pezzo di storia automobilistica.

La città di Trollhättan, dove ha sede il museo, la fondazione Wallenberg e Saab Ab sono riusciti a mettere insieme più di 4 milioni di dollari ed hanno comprato tutte le 120 vetture che erano state messe in vendita.

Si è salvata così una collezione unica al mondo, composta da auto che hanno fatto la storia del marchio svedese, come la Ur-Saab del 1946, la prima vettura prodotta dalla casa del Nord Europa.
