With the Mercedes CLA almost on the market, it seems only natural that BMW will get its own Compact Four-door Coupe with a possible toss of an M badge on it. Regarding the 2 SERIES GRAN SPORT TOURER the history of BMW actually has some kind of precedent on the theme of what we may call small tourer, but not a shooting brake, if we take a look at the classic 1600/2002 Touring we instantly see what BMW is actually thinking about.
