Polestar Goes Norway

The first Polestar Space will open in the middle of 2019 in Oslo, Norway – one of the most developed electric vehicle markets. The Polestar Space in Oslo will be the first to show Polestar’s innovative and modern brand and retail concept, and is the start of a global network that will include around 60 Spaces by mid-2020. Located in downtown Oslo on Øvre Slottsgate, the Polestar Space will be situated amongst other progressive brand stores in a prominent retail environment. “Polestar will redefine the vehicle ownership experience and the relationship customers have with their car manufacturer,” comments Thomas Ingenlath, Chief Executive Officer of Polestar. “Polestar Spaces are an important part of our customer experience, and where we will physically meet our customers. Today, a new harmonised set of fuel labels will appear across Europe. They will give drivers better information on the suitability of fuels for their vehicles wherever they travel in the EU, helping them avoid misfuelling and informing on the environmental impact of their choice. Alternative fuels can help reduce Europe's air quality problems, much of which are caused by transport emissions. However, the growing diversity of fuels available on the European market means that drivers, businesses and fuel station operators need clearer information on fuels sold at filling stations From now on, when customers arrive at a public filling station of any Member State, they will notice new EU-wide harmonized fuel symbols on fuel dispensers and fuel nozzles. The same harmonised, easy-to-read, clear and simple labels will also be compulsory for newly produced vehicles and will be shown on the fuel-filler caps. SSC Tuatara Hypercar Earns World’s “Fastest Production Vehicle” Title Tuatara Breaks World Records, as Racer, Oliver Webb Achieves 331MPH SSC North America, America’s first hypercar company, has reclaimed the coveted title of world’s “Fastest Production Vehicle,” this time with its 1,750hp Tuatara. With internationally acclaimed professional racing driver, Oliver Webb, at the Tuatara’s wheel, the record-breaking drive took place on the morning of Saturday, October 10, outside of Las Vegas near Pahrump, Nevada along a seven-mile stretch of State Route 160. Webb pushed the SSC Tuatara to an average speed of 316.11 mph (508.73 km/h) following two consecutive high-speed test runs of 301.07 mph (484.53 km/h) and 331.15 mph (532.93 km/h).
